Location: Old Vermilion Trail S.C.
Old Vermilion Trail Hunting Preserve and Sporting Clays is a venue that can only be described a “Northern Minnesota”. While moving from station to station you will be able to imagine hunting grouse in the vast forest of northern Minnesota. The Old Vermilion Trail Hunting Preserve and Sporting Clays is located on 460 acres of forest, creeks, and ponds making it a perfect location for a sporting clays course.
You won’t find 50 yard target during this shoot. The presentations are intended to represent shots that may be encountered while hunting with your side x side. Don’t think all presentations will be easy. I think we can say deception may play a role in how the stations are set up. Bert Schwieger Jr. is an owner and architect of Old Vermilion Trail. He keenly uses the terrain to deceive even the most experienced shorting clays shooter. Don’t just come to shoot, plan to take in the grandeur of the location.
